Fabric Care Guide

At Tiss’ART, each material is selected for its character, drape, and elegance.
Proper care helps preserve the beauty and quality of your fabrics over time.

Cotton

  • Machine wash 30-40°C
  • Air drying recommended
  • Iron at medium temperature
  • Do not use bleach

Silk

  • Dry cleaning recommended
  • Hand wash — cold water, mild soap
  • Do not wring — gently press in a towel
  • Iron at low temperature, inside out
  • Do not expose to direct sunlight

Crêpe

  • Dry cleaning recommended
  • Hand washing possible - cold water
  • Do not wring
  • Iron at low temperature, inside out

Wool

  • Dry cleaning recommended
  • Hand wash — cold water, special wool detergent
  • Do not machine wash
  • Dry flat to avoid deformation
  • Iron with a damp cloth

Tweed

  • Dry cleaning only
  • Do not wet
  • Brush gently after use
  • Iron with a damp cloth, at low temperature

Sequin

  • Dry cleaning only
  • Do not machine wash
  • Do not iron directly on sequins
  • Turn the fabric inside out before any care

Tulle

  • Hand wash - cold water, mild soap
  • Dry flat - do not wring
  • Iron at very low temperature
  • Handle with care

Lace

  • Hand wash only - cold water
  • Do not machine wash
  • Dry flat
  • Do not iron directly - use a protective cloth

Taffeta

  • Dry cleaning recommended
  • Avoid moisture — marks are difficult to remove
  • Iron at low temperature, inside out
  • Store rolled, never folded

Faux Leather

  • Soft damp cloth only
  • Do not iron
  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure
  • Store flat or rolled

Neoprene

  • Hand wash — cold water
  • Do not machine wash
  • Air dry
  • Do not iron — heat damages the material

Duchesse

  • Dry cleaning recommended
  • Do not wet — visible marks
  • Iron at low temperature, inside out
  • Handle with care — fabric fragile to rubbing

Satin

  • Dry cleaning recommended
  • Hand washing possible — cold water, mild soap
  • Do not wring
  • Iron at low temperature, inside out
  • Avoid rubbing

Jacquard

  • Dry cleaning recommended
  • Hand washing possible depending on composition
  • Iron at low temperature, inside out
  • Check the exact fabric composition

Brocade

  • Dry cleaning only
  • Never wash with water — risk of pattern deformation
  • Do not iron directly
  • Store rolled to preserve the pattern

Linen

  • Machine wash possible — 30-40°C
  • Air drying recommended
  • Iron slightly damp for optimal results
  • Softens with washing
